Câmara Municipal da Maia | We Own We
In 2024 and 2025, I had the opportunity to work on the Festival de Danças Urbanas, an initiative of the Youth Department of Maia City Council. Recognized as the municipality’s largest event dedicated to urban dance, the festival stands as a key platform for celebrating this artistic expression, deeply rooted in contemporary youth culture.
Throughout these two years, I preserved the festival’s established visual identity while introducing a more up-to-date touch, aligned with current graphic and communication trends, reinforcing its connection with a young and dynamic audience.

The visual identity of the 2024 and 2025 festival posters was developed with the aim of maintaining consistency while evolving in style. For 2025, the poster design preserved the same core identity but introduced a fresher, more contemporary look, with updated graphic elements, modern typography, and a vibrant color palette, reinforcing the festival’s relevance and connection with today’s youth.

In 2024, the design emphasized the strong and recognizable identity already associated with the event, highlighting its energy and cultural impact.

In addition to the posters, the stage was also designed within the same visual line and concept. The layout and aesthetics were carefully thought out to create a cohesive atmosphere, ensuring that all dancers performed within a unified environment that reflected the festival’s identity and enhanced the overall audience experience.
